Nobody likes a sales pitch, which is good, because I have nothing to sell you. This site will essentially be a diary of my public-facing thoughts. You can decide whether they’re worth reading. Mostly they won’t be.
For now, I’ll remain semi-anonymous, but this isn’t my first blog. Nominally, I’m a lawyer*, but that doesn’t mean I have any special insight. It doesn’t mean anything, really, other than that I have an especially high tolerance for reading very boring texts**.
*If you didn’t roll your eyes here, you should’ve. Another blogging lawyer? Just what we needed!
**The summer before I started law school, I had a recurring dream that I got there, got my books, sat down to read them and … discovered that they were in English, but the words were all jumbled up and made no sense. This is not unlike the experience of non-lawyers reading case law or statutes.
Feel free to follow along with me on this ride. Or not. I wouldn’t blame you for bailing. I mostly do this because I need a creative outlet for the thoughts bouncing around in my head. And I enjoy discussing these topics with other interested folks.
